IFSC Economic Work Group

The Economic Work Group has identified priorities centered around four recommendations contained in Cultivating Resilience.  These include recommendations around:

 

  • The market value of fruits and vegetables as a percept of total value of Iowa agriculture products
  • The percent of fruit and vegetable canning, pickling and drying facilities of total food manufacturers in Iowa
  • The number of poultry processing facilities in Iowa with less than 20 employees
  • The dollar value of Iowa agricultural products sold to Iowans or human consumption.
